Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) have advised that there will be a planned power outage on Friday 19 June 2026 between 9:00am and 4:00pm to allow essential maintenance works to be carried out on the overhead lines.
The outage is expected to affect East Crab Hill street lights and may also impact other street furniture or supplies connected to the same unmetered kiosk.
SSEN have advised residents and businesses to take appropriate precautions during this period and, where possible, avoid working on or editing important documents during the outage window.
The works are being carried out to help improve network reliability and reduce the risk of future unplanned outages.
